How It Works

The Defender-Plus module provides the most advanced corrosion protection available anywhere. Through 15 plus years of rigorous testing, it is proven to be the most effective way to reduce corrosion on automotive sheet metal.

Defender-Plus generates radio frequency pulse-wave surface currents.

When a scratch or stone chip exposes steel, zinc galvanizing naturally protects the steel and slows down the corrosion process.

However, moisture from the environment reacts with zinc to form a zinc oxide barrier, which renders the zinc glavanizing inert and unable to protect the steel, causing corrosion.

The electromagnetic surface current breaks down the zinc oxide barrier, enhancing the ability of zinc galvanizing to protect the steel surface.
